Partnership Unites Region’s Only 100% Fiber Network with Symmetrical Speeds of up to 10 Gbps and Internet Service Provider Recognized for Outstanding Customer Service
Selma, AL, September 25, 2026 – mStreet Fiber Alabama and Intellipop today announced a partnership to deliver fiber broadband service to residents and businesses throughout Alabama’s Black Belt Region. The service offers symmetrical upload and download speeds from 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) to 5 Gbps, with speeds of up to 10 Gbps available for commercial customers.
mStreet Fiber Alabama, a Selma-based open access network developer, is building fiber infrastructure across the region. Its open access model allows multiple internet service providers to offer service over the same network, which gives subscribers a choice of providers. Intellipop is providing service over the network, which is now reaching communities that have long had limited access to high-speed, reliable broadband.

Intellipop service is available in neighborhoods within Selma, Valley Grande, Marion, Demopolis, Uniontown, Orrville, Linden, Alberta and Gallion, and in the communities of Catherine, Greensboro, Newbern, Safford, Sardis and Whitsitt. Service will expand as mStreet Fiber Alabama continues building its open access network across the region.
